New day, new opportunity. New Monday, new Monday story.

This week’s story comes from a Product Design student living and studying in Ankara. Her name is Sümeyye and she’s a young lady with one hell of a designing and drawing skills (yes, the sketch below is her work). This is her Monday story.

”There are different kinds of ‘’bad times’’. They are all caused by different kinds of situations. They all come with a similar, yet different set of emotions. And all of them require a different way out.

For example, let say something bad happened to me. And then afterwards, something even worse happened. That makes me realize that the thing that had happened earlier wasn’t even that bad. I shouldn’t have felt that way at all. And some time later I’m probably going to feel the same way about the current situation. Therefore, maybe I shouldn’t feel this way now either.

However bad it gets, it’s good to know my family is always around. It’s good to know that no matter what happens, I’ll always have their support. They will always do their best to help me deal with my problems and overcome all of the obstacles in life. They are my key to getting back on track.

And when it comes to Mondays. It all comes down to the things that are to be done during that day. There are a lot of practical courses in my department. And I know that skipping one of them means struggling to understand the next one. I know I would have to do extra work on my own. So it gets me out of bed and on the go. On the other hand, if there’s something good on the schedule for that day (related to school or not) then it’s excitement that gets me up!”
